  A Boone County government employee who has maintained and developed the county's payroll and accounting systems since 2024, with prior work in policy administration and financial software, per the Columbia Missourian. Kip Kendrick, the sitting presiding commissioner, is the only name for the office on the county's certified August 4 notice; Boone County's other certified county offices (circuit clerk, county clerk, collector, prosecuting attorney, recorder) each drew a single unopposed candidate, all of whom appear on the ballot under Missouri law.
